Awakening the Past
Irene
Irene
She was a jazz singer in a bar established by her ancestors so long ago. With a hibiscus flower pinned neatly in her upswept hair and her lips painted in the deepest shade of red, she sang with the voice of one who had felt the pain of love long lost though never forgotten. Her sultry style with her sequined dress and sky-high stilettos couldn't mask the pain in her heart that was belted out with every note. But she was a beauty to be sure. And her heart, though broken into pieces, was as rich and as hopeful as the love song she shared.
This entry table has been upcycled using black and gold paint on the base embellished with an iridescent plum colored wax. The top is coated with clear, gold, and plum epoxy and has an almost mirror-like finish which made photographing it to it's true beauty almost impossible. There is a small center drawer to hold your keys or to keep your mail. The table measures 42"long x 24" deep x 29" high. All measurements are taken at the widest point possible.
